At Met gala meet 2013 Sarah Jessica Parker Looked awesome yet funny to us. This exhibition was organized at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6, 2013 in New York City. She wore a gown which perfectly matched the desired theme of the event which was “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”. She looked stunning as always and lived up to the expectations of the theme for the party. Her Mix print gown was quite energetic and stylish in drape. Most interesting was her headpiece which was Mohawk-shaped and looked funny too. Overall her look was quite interesting to match the punk look expected for the event.

Sara Jessica Parker suffered a malfunction while her photo was clicked at the event where her underwear was shown shockingly while getting photographed at the event. Interesting was her overall look at the event and specially the focus went on her headpiece. Surely punk is going to be the upcoming trend of the fashion trends.

So the lady in the news, our very own princess Kate Middleton has won The Headwear Association’s Hat Person of the Year award, in which the results was decided by online vote. Kate grabbed 91% of the votes, putting fellow nominees like Rachel Zoe, Ne-Yo, and Charlie Sheen letting down in the go. Well as expected! Also she’s the first woman to be named Hat Person of the Year, as previous accolades went to Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp. Now that’s something great! check out her remarkable looks here.

She is one of my favorite fashion icon, style icon, fashion muse whatever you call she is one of the most stylish n elegant personality ever. My blog is full with posts on her. It’s her charm which we are bowled over! This time it’s about her hats. Kate is known for her stylish n decorative hats. She knows well how to style with what. If not a very complicated designs of Philip Treacy, she can even carry a simple cowboy hat with those oodles of right attitude. As in British culture hats are intrinsic, she carried them well since she wed Prince William last year. She wore She wore perfect hats matching to her so ideal looks, right hats for the right occasions. Then be it a decorative floral hat worn at the wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall to a white cowboy hat at the Calgary Stampede. She wore all with her flawless style.

Well hello there… I was so excited to post my latest post on design, fashion, inspiration and cultural fashion trends… I was on vacations to Himachal Pradesh exploring all the cultural trends there. Shimla in himachal is my mother’s native place and I fell in love with the place whenever i go there again. Okay so I am talking about cultural fashion of Shimla in India! Shopping was one of a kind experience there; colorful patterns on jackets, shoes, caps were amazing. I fully enjoyed shopping with the chilly winds and scenic beauty all around. You will discover a unique experience there. How could i resist myself from clicking some pictures, so just check them out!

Caps there is a crown of himachal dresses. It is round in shape and has a colorful border on half portion woven on small looms. Aztec patterns or Ikat inspired patterns are common on these caps. Sometimes fine velvet is also used for the front side of caps. It varies in size from small to large.

Did you see a queue of jackets?? These are a part of traditional himachal dress. Jackets are mainly of felt material or other woolen fabrics as just ask me how much cold it is there. Decorated with intricate designs these traditional dresses of Himachal Pradesh are something always in fashion there. Equally popular among the rural and urban folks, these dresses portray religious and geometrical designs in vivid shades. I found them on the streets there, these colorful aztec pattern trims on jacket or hat looks beautiful and quite inspiring to me.

These traditional handcrafted shoes were the most interesting product i enjoyed clicking. These Grass Shoes are locally called ‘Pullas’ used as footwear in the homes and outside. They are bright and colorful with dazzling aztec pattern. The sole of the grass shoes is made from natural fiber called ‘Bhang’ (hemp). Bhang is a wild bush. Nowadays, acrylic yarn is also used due to its durability and a colorful appearance. Upper part of the grass shoes is knitted with hand in beautiful segments according to the designs. It is used inside the places of worship where leather shoes are not allowed. Well you can experiment with these as your fashion statement too. All in all i loved these traditional products and have inspired myself to make some interesting handbags using them as my next inspiration.
